I apportion the message in many ways and various media. But it remains the same truth, the same good news. By decree I share it again, and again, and yet once again, as a runner carrying a message to be delivered. As the message continues to be told, it will continue to transform those appointed to hear. Lives saved will continue to grow, hope will be restored. Hope against all hope. The promise of glory.
Living hope when there is none to be seen, yet a sure hope alive to be experienced.
The image of Christ’s brokenness, His life’s blood being poured out for us.
In Him as we are broken, His love is poured into us that we may let it flow into the world.

Let there be Light, He said
And the Darkness fled
But who is this stealing in
Sneaking around , back again
Light has overcome
Dark will not run
Light speaks again
Dark is chagrined
Be it only right
Not able to overcome,
For then try to smite
And plunder His sum
Darkness judges life
Encircles the Light
Proclaims His demise
Will be the prize
The timber of the tree
Bears a shadow of life
And can it be three
The nails of stricken strife
The skies turned
A caliginous gloom
Darkening to spurn
Even vestige a moon
Darkness dances his jig
With a laugh of evil glee
At last he was winning big
Light hung limp upon the tree
Death, by his evil decree
Carried Light to the grave
Darkness at last mighty
Nothing would Light save
(Light of Life Overcomes Evil and Death)
Light entombed first day
Darkness still of caution
Too soon to claim decay
Stone is sealed from illusion
Light entombed day two
Death, his grip held fast
Darkness detects nothing askew
Nothing he can’t outlast
Early the tomb day three
Darkness hearkens a report
Death’s message incites fury
Light escaped, extinction cut short
Sealed stone is carried away
Open door streaming sunlight
Death has lost his very first prey
Darkness more than his odious fight
Light is vitalized, He’s alive
Death and Darkness defeated
Heaven’s gate is opened wide
Evil’s loss, he is gravely depleted.

Christ Is Risen!
The LORD is Risen Indeed!
And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. Genesis 1:3
“The Light shines in the darkness and darkness has not overcome it.” John 1:5
Note: For most Christians, this week — Holy Week — is the most important week of the year. Holy Week culminates in the Paschal Triduum, the three days commemorating the crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
And the reason the above is true is because of what the Apostle Paul said in the bible passage below.
1 Corinthians 15:16-19
“For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.”
That was stated by the man who met Jesus after His Resurrection on his way to Damascus to persecute Christians. (Acts 9:3-6)

The day Christ conquered death had the most significant drama ever both in our world and the spiritual world. You captured it well G.W.

Thanks, Gary.
I would hazard a guess the spiritual realm in these times is very nearly as busy, judging by what’s happening across the surface of this globe in our time.
