Handwriting

Do you ever wish you could see into the future? If for no reason but that you may know disaster was going to strike so you could avert it? In a very real way you can have that, in so far as escaping the worst thing that could ever happen to you or those close to you.

Today is Sunday. A fine day for some preaching again. Not to worry, I’m not going to do the preaching. I will give that privilege to guest speakers by video who can do it better than I can.

Billy Graham 1958. The Hand Writing on the wall, a timeless message that fits the time we live in today. We might even say it was prophetic back then. If so it’s because he proclaimed the word of God so faithfully. Oh, my. There’s power in the blood, there’s power in the Word, and there was power in Billy Graham’s voice when he proclaimed our need for Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

The viewing quality of this video reminds me of an old, well used, worn out bible. It has lost it’s luster of youth, but has lost none of it’s strong message!

Ezekiel 14:12-14; Daniel 5:1-30

Sixty-three years later, Christians around the world suffer grievously for their faith in our Savior. Including India and Brazil, just to name a few. Now I get word of how Myanmar (Burma) has been taken over by the military that is anti-Christian and inviting troops from China and N. Korea to take control. Is the world falling into a chaotic mess by the hearts of darkness? Yes. But our God has them right where He wants them! And He has them surrounded.

  1. “Yes. But our God has them right where He wants them! And He has them surrounded.” Truth, G.W. God has his enemies surrounded. “May God arise, may His enemies be scattered; may His foes flee before Him.” Psalm 68:1

  2. “Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.”
