#indomitable Spirit
If I don’t post this now it will linger in my queue until the twelfth of never. Maybe it would be better there. However, I am curious why I wrote it. It has been a vestigial flicker to me since the beginning of this epoch we seem to have entered.
The chimera pandemic was nailed to our doors and forced into our pores.
Phantasm laws binding with shackles, denying evidence, throwing gaslight shadows.
Surrender to us all you know true, in return we will think for you.
It is not the end of the world, you know. Only the end of the world you know.
~ Giacomo da Lentini
A deep tectonic plate shifted the way life in this world is interpreted for the eyes of the beholder.
But strangely enough, nothing really changes except current events. The typical state of the world has always been one of continual changes with a fixed destination. New life coming as another breath departs has been the full history of humanity from the onset of life as we now know it. That is not the sound of detached chaos, but it can rightly be called normal oscillations of a forward momentum destined for completion.
Whatever life offers, gifts of prosperity, or clouds of gloom, it is all temporary. The shifting of an apparent fickle world will continue to turn in and with an ordained rhythm. This is the way it was always going to be, as the music slows the dance tempo speeds faster, as the Sovereign assembles all events under His reign, His final governance.
Pathogen of soul
In the corners of my mind
Winter chill lingers
Become phantoms in Spring
Light I have
I have shadows too
Shadow and Light
A nettlesome blend
Clanging cymbal
Banging drum
Screeching strings
Violin clutter
Piano weak
maestro deranged
Lacking consonance
Harmonic tumult
Between the light
And shadowed darkness
Light be the affections
Shadow be the stealth
How to overcome
The leaden weight
Discordance of dark
Harmony of light
Jesus Savior
Healer of all
Say the word
And we will be healed.
