A gracious word in season
is worth more than gold.
It’s a wrapping of warm blankets
to someone in a world gone cold.
Somebody for whom misery has become very old.
Saving a life with a kind word will not but enfold.
Pay it forward, or pay it back, grace is never too bold.
~G.W.
As the hearts of many grow cold, let us display the tender mercies of our Lord to many through the grace of His example by our encouraging words to many.
“I lift my eyes to the hills, where does my help come from? It comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1-2

We know not the depths into a life a gracious word speaks and keeps echoing in ones inner chambers. You have keen insights G.W. and poet them well.

Thank you, my friend. Now add that smile that you mentioned and get a fireworks display celebration of loving our neighbor. And so little cost. An amazing proposition knowing it enfolds us also in the giving.
