Redux of a past post. I believe one worthy of repeating any day of the year. As His tomb is empty, so we will not remain in ours. Today is the first resurrection day of this coming week. Let us encourage one another in it.
Do you feel it? Do you feel the confusion? Do you feel the fear? This fear, doubt and confusion the disciples felt that day between Christ’s death on the cross and the day of His Resurrection. We don’t have that fear because we know how the story ends. But they didn’t. Not yet.
This spiritual needs no introduction…heart and soul will know it instinctively. The Truth of our Resurrection. For without the Resurrection we are naught but dust in the end. And that is what the disciples may have fretted that they were facing on that day/ between the Cross /and the Resurrection.
Ok, so I did a switch-up on the gospel song in this Redux. But the same message applies. For if He isn’t risen there is no hope in Him. I hope you enjoy this as well as the original. In my humble estimation it is as good or even better in its own style. For all my hope is truly in Jesus, and the power of His resurrection.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek”. Romans 1:16 NKJV

The Resurrection of Christ
15: 1 Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. 2 By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.
3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures….
The Resurrection of the Dead – 1 Corinthians 15: 12-22
12 But if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised.14 And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith. 15 More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead. But he did not raise him if in fact the dead are not raised.16 For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either.17 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. 18 Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost.19 If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.
20 But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For since death came through a man,the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. 22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.
I very much appreciate this post. It isn’t a redux for me, as I don’t recall the original, but it is always good to see the Scriptures all over again. They never get old and only improve with age.

Thank you. Yes, I can so attest the Scriptures are second only to Jesus our Lord. They never get old.
