Meaningful soliloquies.

What is an emergency window?

Steeny Lou! I see you! Where have you been?? Better question, where have I been?
What is an emergency window? Have you ever been on a commercial airline?
It’s also a window I post through when I’m not posting regularly. 😊
A quick whim-of-the-moment post. 😊

Yes, I have been on a few commercial flights, so I can picture the concrete there. Just wasn’t sure of the analogy’s meaning.
Where I have been… mostly at home here in the semi-wild part of rural beautiful BC. My blogging has been sporadic and slim, though. I chalk it up to preoccupation with chores, summertime maximizing of longer daylight hours, and family.
Et vous?

Hiding in a barrell of words? That is an interesting way to put it. I have been hiding in an empty bucket with few words. It is a camo bucket, so nobody has found me.

I know my French is even worse than my English.
I have been hiding in a barrel of words trying to make them agree.
Have you been able to enjoy any of the summer yet?

I am sorry I didn’t answer that question till now. I meant to, but then when I lost my draft writing about The End Of A Book, it’s like something in my brain broke. I am still not fully recovered
But the question has come to mind several times. HAVE I been able to enjoy any of the summer yet? The answer is that if summer thus far were an 8-1/2″ x 11″ page of black construction paper and the enjoyment is represented by 1″ squares of yellow paper, there’d be one or two yellow squares glued haphazardly onto it.
Minimal and short-lived joy.
I want joy. I really do. I guess we can’t always get what we want. I do have a roof over my head and the basic necessities, so although joyless, I am grateful.
