Grace, hope and Truth for each day.
I have often thought of the irrational cost, strength, deception of perception and our proud humility holding us away from God. All roads that lead to becoming foundationally humble bump along to the foot of the cross. I am quite sure I can hardly begin to fathom all that happens within us to be “Crucified with Christ” so that “It is no longer I who live but Christ lives in me”. How ironic that pride ends up hurting more than humility.

Very well said, Gary, my friend. Very well said, indeed! “deception of perception.” How deceived I can be by what I THINK I perceive. Lord have mercy! And remember I am dust but for You!
