“Take your shoes off Moses, you’re on Holy Ground…” The lyrics to the refrain of this Southern Gospel Revival song. My question to ask myself: when am I NOT on holy ground? And why do I NOT take my shoes off more often, figuratively speaking? I, we all, are always in God’s presence whether we like it, attend to it, or even recognize it, or not.
Shout-out to SlimJim over at The Domain for Truth, where I first saw this, listened and made me think so early in the morning! The question that causes me to ruminate, and not answer too quickly, is the type of question I find the importance of in the question itself, rather than the immediate answer. -g.w (Reference: Exodus 3:5)
