Morning Coffee and Quotes Saturday

May the Lord be on your side as you fight every obstacle. May you hold your peace and may He defend you when you are unable to speak. May He bring justice for you and guard you in every way today. Good morning to you, and may you have a wonderful day! -g.w

Retired and On sabbatical (again, but not quite). More info available in 'About Me' on my site page.(There is a small square box with three little dots inside, on the upper right hand side of every blog page,at the right side of title banner. Click on those dots to take you to a "hidden" site page with more info provided by me, including "follow" button and "About me." I didn't design this thing. It came as-is.)Also WP has a mandatory banner at the bottom of the screen about privacy and cookies policy that blocks the visibility of a "follow" button that pops up under a "close and accept' of the privacy agreement. You have to click the 'close and accept to see the follow button. Things are becoming more complicated to navigation with hidden activations and complex instructions. Life and technology is like that. If something seems simple you're probably doing it wrong. But I'm left-handed so maybe it's just me.

  1. I spoke and put a rose on a casket yesterday. Mums passing stripped the white noise of the world away for awhile. Got the coffee, need to walk around the fields woodside with Jesus a few more laps. I think an all day “walk and talk” coming. Love your morning coffee quotes. Thanks G.W.

    1. Oh, my. I’m so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing, Gary, my friend! You take all the time you need with Jesus! The white noise of the world will still be here. And nobody can match the support you have talking to our Savior who mourns with us when we mourn. I lost my mother not that long ago. There are no words to fully describe that feeling of loss and irreplaceable void. I remember a surreal fog descending over me even as I wrapped myself in the presence of Jesus. Thank you, my friend, for your kind thoughts of my morning coffee quotes at this time!

      1. Thanks G. W. I called my wifes mother Mum but she was as close as my mom (recently lost hew as well). I understand the surreal fog in life. In all this I am amazed at the circuitry of hope our savior wires within us as we trust walk life.
