Ancient Words

Ancient words that are true as the day we live in. So how really ancient are they? In sense of time, yes, ancient indeed. But certainly not archaic. This book has been called The Book of Life, The Living Word, The Word of Life, God’s Word, The Living Message, and many more self-descriptive titles, giving hints to its purpose, depth and grandeur.

Life would be more colorless, loveless, directionless, dangerous, lost and untenable without it. May the Lord have mercy, remembering His people are but dust.

May you be blessed this mid-week Wednesday.

Isaiah 55: 8-11

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.

“As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.

10 As the rain and the snow
come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,

11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

There is a small square box with three little dots inside, on the upper right hand side of every blog posted page,at the right side of title banner. Click on those dots to take you to a "hidden" site page with more info provided by me, including "follow" button and "About me." (I didn't design this.It came as-is). Also, WP has a mandatory banner at the bottom of the screen about privacy and cookies policy that blocks the visibility of a "follow" button that pops up under a "close and accept' of the privacy agreement. You must click the 'close and accept' to see the follow button. Things are becoming more complicated to navigation with hidden activations and complex instructions.
