Little Children

Little Child

15 People were also bringing babies to Jesus for him to place his hands on them. When the disciples saw this, they rebuked them. 16 But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 17 Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”

-Luke 18:15-17

A little child is very accepting, takes teaching by faith in the One

Who teaches him, tends to be affectionate and loving,

Both giving and receiving love,

Accepts authority from the One he trusts,

Has a willingness to share his possessions,

Excited, even giddy to share what he has learned,

Eager to quote the wisdom and words of

His Father(or Mother)

Protects and cares for his younger siblings,

Exercises bragging rights about his Father and Mother,

Authoritatively proclaiming them

the best there ever was!

He is an optimist about things to come,

trusting they will come about favorably,

for his Father says so!

The child always protects,

Always trusts,

Always hopes,

Always perseveres.

To be born of the spirit is much like – being born again! Anew. Very like a little child with a new source of love and wisdom.

More info available in 'About Me' on my site page.(There is a small square box with three little dots inside, on the upper right hand side of every blog page,at the right side of title banner. Click on those dots to take you to a "hidden" site page with more info provided by me, including "follow" button and "About me." I didn't design this thing. It came as-is.)Also WP has a mandatory banner at the bottom of the screen about privacy and cookies policy that blocks the visibility of a "follow" button that pops up under a "close and accept' of the privacy agreement. You have to click the 'close and accept to see the follow button. Things are becoming more complicated to navigation with hidden activations and complex instructions. If something seems simple you're probably doing it wrong.
